Board Certified General SurgeonDr. Hansen is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his BS in Chemistry from Utah State University. In 1992 he graduated from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1997. Dr. Hansen practiced in Sikeston, MO for 5 years before moving to Rexburg, ID in 2002 where he started his private General Surgery Practice.

Board-certified general surgeon.Dr. Max Hansen is a board-certified general surgeon. Max graduated from the University of Des Moines Medical School in Des Moines, IA. He completed his General Surgery residency through the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND in June of 2022, with an emphasis on rural surgery. Max and his wife Sarah have 3 young girls. As a family they enjoy being outdoors and are excited to be back in South East Idaho.
