  JODY RAWLINGS

  PT & DPT

  Jody developed an interest in physical therapy while he received his own physical therapy treatment for a back injury he incurred in 1988. He was impressed with how it helped in getting him back on his feet, and he decided that he would love to help others through their own process of recovery. His passion for the people and scenery of east Idaho led Jody to purchase Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Rexburg in January of 1999. Jody and his wife Gennifer were married in June of 1991. They have three sons and one daughter. His family and his work give Jody his greatest happiness. He enjoys being with family and friends, and he considers the staff and patients of Spine and Sport PT a kind of second family. He loves the outdoors and spends his days off either fishing or skiing.

  KADEN SUTHERLAND

  DPT

  Kaden was first introduced to physical therapy while in high school when he received treatment from Jody at Spine & Sport PT for various sports-related injuries. The ability to return to sport quicker, the exercise interventions, and the fun environment were what intrigued him most about the profession and eventually led to the decision to pursue it for a career. Kaden and his wife, Brea, were married in July of 2017. Together they have two young children, a daughter and a son, who they love to spend time outdoors together on hikes or boating during the summer. Kaden chose to join the team at Spine & Sport PT because he wants to help contribute to the excellent culture that has been established there through treating patients with their goals in mind to help them return to function in a fun environment.

  TAUNYA TURPIN

  PTA

  Taunya was born in Blackfoot, Idaho. It was while doing an internship with a physical therapist that she gained interest in wanting to do physical therapy. Soon after graduating from PTA school she started working as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gateway Transitional Care Center in Pocatello, Idaho. She is excited now to be working in the Rexburg area as an assistant. She finds happiness in seeing patient's progress and achieving their goals through physical therapy. Taunya enjoys spending time participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and camping. Growing up she was involved in cross country and track. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
